Update: Water Quality Standards OFF Committee Agenda
You got their attention! The Legislative Rule Making Committee has removed discussion of the water quality standards rule from today’s, 9/23, agenda. Your messages truly make a difference and decision makers are listening!
So what happens now? WV Rivers will keep a close eye on the Committee and will let you know when the proposed water quality standards rule is back on the agenda. We know they’ll take up the proposed rule prior to the 2021 session, and it could be considered after the election.
In the meantime, we encourage you to make a plan to vote in the 2020 General Election!
