LWCF is a good investment

Public lands are a good investment. The Land and Water Conservation Fund supports the local parks that we use everyday and the ‘wild and wonderful’ icons of West Virginia that make us a destination for recreation and tourism. The New River Gorge National River has received a total of $43 million from LWCF to increase access to public lands and waters, including the boater put-in at Fayette Station. Each year, these public lands contribute over $66 million in economic activity to southern West Virginia. LWCF is money well spent.
