LWCF saves snot otters! The Good Zoo at Oglebay Park has played a leading role in the reintroduction of eastern hellbenders into West Virginia’s headwater streams. And LWCF has played a leading role in sustaining this park, once the estate of Earl Oglebay donated to the City of Wheeling in 1926. In addition to the Good Zoo, LWCF funding at Oglebay has been used for public restrooms, gardens, golf course, and the winter sports complex, totalling over $1.75 million.

Take action for hellbenders, Oglebay, and LWCF here.
