Gather with friends old and new in heart of the Monongahela National Forest during the Best of Birthplace of Rivers Weekend, next weekend, May 20-21.
On Saturday, enjoy the camaraderie of fellow WV Rivers supporters as you learn about and celebrate the southern Monongahela National Forest. After an afternoon of interactive programs, you’ll be treated to a delicious dinner from the Elk River Inn & Restaurant followed by a campfire and stargazing under the darkest skies in the East.
On Sunday, join one of our four guided excursions exploring the National Forest. Choose from a fly fishing clinic on the Elk River, touring Highland Scenic Highway, exploring Cranberry Glades, or biking along the Williams River. All supplies, gear, transportation to and from the field trip, and a bagged lunch are provided!
Registration: Adult registration is just $20 for the weekend, kids under 15 are $5. Registration includes all programming, Saturday dinner and Sunday lunch. Please register by next Wednesday, 5/17.
