Lost River could lose LWCF! In 1975 Lost River State Park received Land and Water Conservation Fund support to acquire new public land for the people of West Virginia to enjoy. In 1994, Lost River State Park received another LWCF grant — worth $148,000 — to reconstruct the public swimming pool. Nearby LWCF projects in Hardy County also include Moorefield Town Park, Wardensville City Park, and Wardensville City Pool.
