EPA Wants to Delay PFAS Reporting — Help Us Push Back

West Virginians deserve clean water, not more delays in action on toxic pollution.

Right now, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is considering adding an additional nine-month delay to a rule that would require industry to report their use of PFAS under the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA).

PFAS or “forever chemicals” are linked to cancer and other health risks. This delay would set back critical efforts to understand where PFAS pollution is coming from, how much is in our environment, and how we can protect our communities.

WV Rivers is urging the EPA to begin collecting this vital data without further delay — and we need your voice, too. Click here to speak out now.

The deadline to comment is Thursday, June 12, and it only takes a minute to submit your comment using our simple form.

We’ve known about PFAS pollution for decades. From Parkersburg to Martinsburg, we’ve seen its impacts up close. It’s time for the government to act to address this toxic contamination, not postpone solutions.

Thank you for adding your voice with ours today.

For clean water & healthy communities,
