West Virginia Rivers Coalition will host our Potomac headwaters celebration at the Old Ebbitt Grill in downtown Washington, DC. This gala event contributes substantially to our fundraising efforts. In addition, the evening is a great opportunity for WVRC to express the critical need for the work we do and bring attention to the beautiful rivers of West Virginia, particularly the headwaters of the Potomac River.

We continue to further expand our work addressing fish kills and the “intersex” disorder in the Potomac Watershed through our Potomac Campaign. Our next step is to increase awareness of these issues through grassroots efforts and through state and federal agency partnerships. Public awareness will make polluters responsive to these problems and help draw attention toward the need for increased research funding. Your support of the Old Ebbitt Grill reception supports our campaign to find solutions to the concerns threatening the Potomac River!
