West Virginians for Public Lands Volunteer Leadership Workshop
Learn To Lead And Organize Volunteers For Public Lands
Ready to take your activism beyond writing letters to Congress? Ready to inspire others to act? You’re ready to be a West Virginians for Public Lands leader. We have a fun daylong training to get you there. And it’s free. Whether you are new to volunteering or you are already a conservation leader, this workshop is for you. No prior organizing or volunteer experience is required.
WV Rivers is hosting Pat Lane, a seasoned veteran of national campaigns, to give you the tools you need to be a leader in the West Virginians for Public Lands campaign. Pat will be joined by Matt Kearns, WV Rivers’ staffer on public lands policy.
This free workshop takes place on Saturday, November 11 in Fayetteville, WV. It will be informal and interactive. We’ll feed you, too. And we guarantee some laughter.
You’ll learn to:
- inspire others to defend public lands;
- build and maintain campaign momentum;
- communicate goals and legislative priorities.
