WV Rivers’ Print Newsletter, Headwaters, and How You can Help Rivers Today

As a friend of WV Rivers Coalition, we wanted to reach out and share the latest edition of WV Rivers newsletter, Headwaters. Inside you’ll find in-depth updates on WV Rivers programming, like our community drinking water protection program; how we’re confronting natural gas pipelines and empowering citizens to make their voice heard; and the growing movement across West Virginia to defend our public lands.

You can download Headwaters here.

For nearly 30-years WV Rivers has worked for cleaner, healthier and more accessible West Virginia rivers and streams. You can read more about WV Rivers efforts in past editions of Headwaters, you can find them here.

But, as we share this message today, so much of the progress we’ve made is threatened to be undone. Attempts to rollback critical water quality protections – including an effort to sell off our public lands – are underway at both the state and federal level. We can’t let our progress be undone – we can’t allow the health of our rivers and streams to go backwards.

That’s why we’re am asking you to please join WV Rivers Coalition today by making a tax-deductible donation. We rely on your support to fight back against rollbacks, sell-offs, and regressive policies that harm West Virginia’s water. Without your support, West Virginia’s rivers and streams won’t have a strong advocate in their corner. Please donate to WV Rivers today.
